Many clients begin therapy feeling exhausted from holding everything together. Here, you are invited to slow down, be honest, and explore what is happening beneath the surface. Healing grows through an emotionally safe, empathic, and attuned therapeutic relationship.

What Therapy with Me Feels Like

Your story matters here. We work through anxiety, depression, perfectionism, relationship challenges, sexual concerns, and emotional disconnection with care and intention.

We work together, you bring your lived experience; and I offer practical strategies, insight, and support. I believe that clients are the expert in their own life, and my role is to provide guidance, encouragement, and offer perspectives that can help you to expand the way that you view yourself, the world, and those around you.

Your coping strategies, past, and fears make sense in the context that you live in. All actions taken to this point have been primarily aimed at ensuring your own protection. I aim to meet those parts with understanding, empathy, and curious exploration, so that we can build internal self-trust that allows you to find a more adaptive way of relating to yourself and others.

We work together to slowly and steadily unravel the patterns shaping your anxiety, perfectionism, depression or relationship dynamics. We examine the internalized beliefs, emotions, cultural/familial/ societal messages that influence behaviors and our emotional states. At a pace that feels comfortable for you, we will update the old, learned habits that have become rigid, and unhelpful with new ways of thinking, emoting, and behaving that are flexible.

You’ll leave sessions with tangible tools you can use in between sessions to strengthen communication and better skills to repair relational ruptures. You may also receive grounding techniques to better handle stress, conflict, anxiety, or depression. In addition to in between session exercises, you may be left with prompt and open-ended questions that invite curiosity and help you expand your self-awareness skills. Since the therapy process looks different for everyone, we will collaborate to create tailored treatment approach that fits your unique needs and the tools offered will align with your personalized goals.

Therapy is not just about reducing symptoms and learning to manage the challenges that come up in our lives. It is about helping you to move towards becoming a version of yourself that feels confident, secure, connected, and aligned with who you want to be. I believe that every client holds personalized strengths that deserve to be amplified and brought to the forefront, so that they can be used to promote the changes they want to make.
